My name is Alexandra and I am a 22 year old post-grad student living in Lowell and working towards my Master of Social Work. My beloved uncle first introduced me to photography when I was young. It prompted me to do a lot of photo camps as a teenager. I’d always bring my camera to school functions, vacations, or simply practicing around the house.

I started Alex Grant Photography in 2022, after an amazing friend of mine asked me to photograph her engagement photos. I used my old Canon Rebel t2i, but was blown away by how they came out. I knew I had potential if I kept practicing.

I started to take my work more seriously and invested in some equipment. I ended up photographing my first wedding entirely on my own. Although there was a lot of improvement needed, I began taking on more bookings. I also began to photograph weddings, and worked a few weddings with Yours Truly Media.

I believe that no matter where life takes us, good or bad, photos are special to us. They remind us how amazing and beautiful life is. I hope that I can keep getting bookings to keep learning, make new connections and expand my business.
